What Aeon is

Aeon reads public filings from government websites and posts them in plain words, with a link to the original. It is information, not advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are not a broker, a dealer or an investment adviser, and nothing here creates that relationship.

We publish the same information to every reader. We do not know your finances or your goals, and nothing we publish is tailored to you.

Who may use Aeon

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to open an account or buy a plan. Do not use Aeon where the law does not allow it.

Accuracy

Filings are published by the people who file them and the agencies that receive them. They can be late, corrected later, or wrong. We can misread a filing. Our signals, scores and records are our own arithmetic on public data, published before their results are known, and they can be wrong too. Read the original filing before acting on anything, and make your own decisions.

No promise of service

The site can go down, run late or miss a filing. We do not promise that it is complete, on time or free of errors.

We may change, pause or stop any page, source or feature. If we stop something a paid plan includes, we tell you first.

Your account

One account per person. Sign-in links are for you alone. Whoever can read your email can sign in as you, so keep your email secure, and tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account or your keys. We may close an account that is used to attack the site, to scrape it, or to send abuse.

Where the data comes from

• Insider trades, planned sales, stakes and fund holdings: the SEC's EDGAR system.
• Congress trade reports: the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate.
• White House trade reports: the United States Office of Government Ethics.
• Government contracts: USAspending.gov.
• Lobbying: reports filed with the United States Senate under the Lobbying Disclosure Act, read from LDA.gov on the date shown beside them. Senate Office of Public Records cannot vouch for the data or analyses derived from these data after the data have been retrieved from LDA.gov.
• Committee seats: the congress-legislators project, in the public domain.
• Returns: calculated by us from prices licensed from Tiingo. Data sourced by Tiingo. We never show the prices themselves.

No government agency made, checked or endorses Aeon.

Congress and White House reports

Trade and financial disclosure reports filed by members of Congress, and by the President, the Vice President and other officials of the executive branch, are made public under the Ethics in Government Act. United States law, 5 U.S.C. § 13107, makes it unlawful for any person to obtain or use such a report:

• for any unlawful purpose;
• for any commercial purpose, other than by news and communications media for dissemination to the general public;
• for determining or establishing the credit rating of any individual; or
• for use, directly or indirectly, in the solicitation of money for any political, charitable, or other purpose.

Those limits apply to you, on every plan, for every such report shown on Aeon and for anything that shows what one says, including member pages, member records and rankings, the President's and Vice President's pages, and the Congress and White House lines of the feed. The penalties are set by that law, not by us.

On Aeon Business and Aeon Scale, you may use this data commercially only inside something anyone can read or subscribe to, such as a newsletter, an app, a website or a video. You may not use it inside your own organization for trading, research, lending, sales or fundraising, or pass it to anyone who will. Any other use needs our written approval first.

Using what we publish

The filings themselves are United States government works and belong to no one. The sentences, scores, records and rankings on this site are ours. You may read the site and share links to its pages. You may not copy its data into another product, scrape it, resell it, or use it to train an AI model that others can use, without our written permission. The one way to use our data in something you are building is the API, and the API terms below say what each plan allows.

What you may not do

On any plan, you may not:

• use Aeon to break any law, including securities law and the law in the section on Congress and White House reports;
• use Aeon to harass, track down or contact the people named in filings;
• work out the prices behind our returns, alone or with other information;
• share an account, or get round a limit, a block or a paused key;
• probe, attack or overload the site, the API or the connector, or test their security without our written permission;
• copy the site's design, words or code, or present Aeon as your own work or as a government source.

Automated reading

Read the site the way a person reads it. A program that fetches our pages, or the data behind them, in bulk must use the API instead, with a key from your account page. That covers scrapers, crawlers, bots and AI agents, whoever runs them.

Search engines may crawl our pages to list them in search results, as robots.txt allows. That is the only use that permission covers.

When one address asks for too much in a short time, the site answers "too many requests" and says how long to wait. Wait that long. Do not get round the limit by changing your address, your name or your program. Doing so breaks these terms, and we may block the addresses and close the accounts involved.

API terms

The API is at /api/v1. It is read only. Every request carries a key, which you make on your account page. The developers page says what each address answers.

The MCP connector is part of the API. These terms, your plan's limits and its rights apply to it the same way.

• Your key is yours alone. Do not share it or put it in anything a stranger can read, such as a web page or a phone app. We may stop a key that is shared, and you are answerable for what is done with yours.
• A free key, or a key on Aeon Pro, is for your own use: your own research, your own scripts, a project nobody pays for. Wherever you show our data, show the line "Data from Aeon (aeondata.io)" beside it.
• Free keys are 24 hours behind. Aeon Pro is live. A free key sees nothing filed, and no signal logged, in the last 24 hours, reaches back 30 days, and may make 500 requests a day. Aeon Pro sees everything the moment we do, reaches back as far as we hold, and may make 20,000 a day.
• Commercial rights come with Aeon Business and Aeon Scale, and with no other plan. Aeon Business is for a company that, with its affiliates, had under US$1 million in revenue in the last 12 months; a larger company needs Aeon Scale, or our written approval. A key on one of those plans may show our data to your own users as part of one product you sell, with the line "Data from Aeon (aeondata.io)" beside it unless we agree otherwise in writing. Name that product, and its web address, on your account page. Your keys work at once; we review each product, and may pause the keys it uses if it breaks these terms. Using the data in another product needs another plan or our written approval. Data from Congress and White House reports has the narrower limit set out in its own section above.
• Nobody may resell the feed as a feed, on any plan. You may not republish our data as a data product, an API, a file for download, or a mirror, such as a plugin that hands it to your users as data, unless we agree to a partner licence in writing. Build something with it; do not sell it on as itself.
• The limits are 60 requests a minute and 500 a day on a free account, 300 a minute and 20,000 a day on an Aeon Pro account, 1,000 a minute and 5,000,000 a month on an Aeon Business account, and 3,000 a minute and 20,000,000 a month on an Aeon Scale account. They belong to the account and not to one key, so every key on an account shares them. Over any of them and you get a 429 and a note saying how long to wait. Write to us if you need more.
• When a paid plan ends or drops to Free, the change lands at the end of the period you paid for. Keys beyond the new allowance are paused, oldest kept. A paused key answers with an error that says why. You can restore paused keys from your account page once your plan has room again. A revoked key stays gone. Alert rules the new plan cannot run are paused the same way, oldest kept, and a paused rule sends nothing.
• Answers carry no prices, on any plan. Where an answer carries a return, it is a percentage at a set point, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months after a filing went public, beside the S&P 500 over the same days, calculated by us from licensed prices. Do not use returns, alone or with other information, to work out the prices behind them. Wherever you show a return from Aeon, show the line "Data sourced by Tiingo" with a link to https://www.tiingo.com beside it.
• Wherever you show lobbying data from Aeon, show the date we read it and the Senate sentence under "Where the data comes from".
• Do not use the API to work out who anybody is beyond what the filing itself says, and do not use it to contact the people in it.
• We may change what an answer holds by adding to it. If we ever have to take something away or change its meaning, that is a new version at a new address, and the old one keeps working while we tell you.
• We may stop a key that is being used to attack the site, to get round the limits, or to break these terms. Where we can, we write first.

The API is offered as it is. It can go down, run late or miss a filing, and the "No promise of service" section above applies to it in full.

Paid features

The paid plans are Aeon Pro at $19 a month, Aeon Business at $99 a month and Aeon Scale at $299 a month. The Payments section below says the yearly prices, and the pricing page sets all four plans side by side. AEONDATA.IO is the name that appears on your statement.

Every paid plan carries alerts within a minute of Aeon posting a filing instead of once a day, as many alert rules as you like, three-dot signal alerts, and live API answers with the full history and the larger limits above. What they do not share is keys and rights: Aeon Pro holds 1 key and is for your own use, Aeon Business holds 5 keys and carries commercial rights, and Aeon Scale holds 10 keys and carries commercial rights.

• Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or hold your card.
• A paid plan renews every month, or every year if you bought it by the year, until you stop it. Stop it from your account page, through the link to Stripe, at any time. It runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
• Stopping the plan and deleting your account are two different things. Stripe holds the payment, not us, so deleting your account here would not stop it. Stop the plan first; the account page will not let you delete until you have.
• We do not refund part of a month. Write to us if something went wrong and we will put it right.
• If we put the price up, we tell you before it applies to you.
• Nothing that can be read on this site is behind the paid plan. The pages are free and stay free.

Payments

Aeon Pro is $19 USD a month or $190 a year. Aeon Business is $99 a month or $990 a year. Aeon Scale is $299 a month or $2,990 a year. Prices are in US dollars, plus tax where it applies; your bank may convert.

Aeon Business has a founding price if you start by Dec 31, 2026: $49 USD a month for the first 12 months, then $99 a month; or $490 USD for the first year, then $990 a year. It applies once per customer, while the offer is open, when you buy Business from our pricing page, at checkout or with Switch to Business. A plan change you start yourself inside Manage billing does not carry it. The one exception: a monthly founding price already running keeps taking $50 off each Business payment until its 12 months end, including the first payment after a move to yearly.

When you move up, Stripe works out the time you have already paid for and invoices the difference at once. Your new plan starts when that invoice is paid. Moving from monthly to yearly takes effect at once, with the unused part of the month credited. Downgrades, cancellations and moving from yearly to monthly take effect at the end of the period you paid for. When one change moves both the plan and the billing period, the plan decides: a bigger plan takes effect at once, and a smaller one at the end of the period.

All plans are priced in US dollars. Stripe may show the price in your own currency at checkout, at that day's rate, with Stripe's conversion fee included. Your statement shows AEONDATA.IO.

Prices do not include taxes. Where the law requires us to collect sales tax, VAT or GST, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

Cancel any time from your Aeon account page. Your plan stays as it is until the end of the period you paid for. No refunds of any kind, including for a change of mind. If you were charged in error, tell us at hello@aeondata.io.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom and buy as a consumer, you may cancel a new plan within 14 days of buying it by writing to us at hello@aeondata.io. We refund what you paid, less the part of the period already used. This right comes from the law where you live and stands beside the rule above.

When a paid plan ends it drops to free; your oldest key keeps working at free limits and any others are paused until you upgrade again. If a payment fails we keep your plan running for seven days while Stripe retries your card; if it still fails, the plan drops to free. We give 30 days notice of a price change by email; a founding price does not change during its 12 months.

When you buy a plan, we email you what you bought, its price, how to cancel, our refund rules and a link to these terms.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows:

• Aeon, the API and the connector are provided as they are and as available. We make no promise, stated or implied, that they are accurate, complete, on time, fit for a particular purpose or free of errors.
• Arkhe Technologies Inc. is not liable for any loss that comes from using this site, including losses on trades or investments made after reading it. That includes lost profits, lost data and any indirect or consequential loss.
• If we are found liable anyway, our total liability to you for all claims together is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you live says cannot be taken away.

Claims caused by your use

If someone makes a claim against us, or a government acts against us, because of how you, or anyone using your account or keys, used Aeon, or because you broke these terms or the law, you will cover what it costs us: amounts we pay under a judgment, settlement or penalty, and reasonable lawyers' fees. We will tell you about the claim, and you may help defend it. If you use Aeon only for yourself and not for a business, this covers only claims caused by your own breach of these terms or of the law.

Pausing or ending access

We may pause or close an account or a key if it breaks these terms, puts us at legal risk, or harms the site or other readers. Where we can, we write first. You may stop using Aeon at any time; the Payments section says how to stop a paid plan. If we close an account because it broke these terms, we do not refund the rest of its period. The sections on Congress and White House reports, what you may not do, limits on our liability, claims caused by your use, and law keep applying after an account ends.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of Alberta, and you and we accept that they may decide it. If you are a consumer, you keep any right the law where you live gives you to bring a claim there, and any protection that law says cannot be taken away.

Changes

We may change these terms. When they change, the date at the top changes with it. When a change affects what you may do or what you pay, we tell you by email or on the site before it applies, and ask you to accept the new terms the next time you sign in. If you do not accept, stop using Aeon and cancel any paid plan; the terms you accepted apply until the period you paid for ends.

General

These terms, the privacy page and the plan you buy are the whole agreement between you and us about Aeon. If a court sets part of them aside, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Aeon; you may not transfer them without our written approval. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, such as outages at the government sites we read.
