Plain answers
Why is the free API a day behind?
Speed is what a paid plan buys. The pages are live for everyone; the free API serves the same data a day later.
What does live mean?
An answer is current to the moment you ask. Nothing is held back.
How do I cancel?
On your account page, press Manage billing. It opens your billing page at Stripe, where you cancel with one click. The plan drops to free at the end of the period you paid for. No refunds of any kind, including for a change of mind. If you were charged in error, tell us at hello@ao2live.com.
What happens to my keys if I cancel?
Your oldest key keeps working, at free limits. The others are paused when the period you paid for ends. Upgrade again and you can restore them or make new ones. If you delete your account, every key stops at once.
What is a request, and what happens at the cap?
Every call to an API address or an MCP tool is one request. At the cap the call answers 429 (too many requests) until the day or the month turns. If you will need more, talk to us.
Monthly or yearly?
Yearly is ten months' price for twelve. Switch from Manage billing on your account page. Moving to yearly takes effect at once, with the unused part of your month credited; moving back to monthly takes effect at the end of the year you paid for.
