What this is. Aeon reads public filings and posts each new one as soon as it appears: SEC Form 4 (insider trades, reported within 2 business days), SEC Form 144 (notice that an insider means to sell, filed before the sale), SEC Schedules 13D and 13G (an investor crossing 5 percent of a company), House of Representatives trade reports and Senate trade reports (members of Congress have up to 45 days to report), and SEC Form 13F (large money managers report holdings within 45 days of each quarter end).
What this is not. Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation. Filings describe trades that happened days, weeks, or months earlier. Amounts on Congress trade reports, from either house, are ranges and not exact figures. Read the original filing before acting on anything.
